Permanent Program Facilitator
Full-time 32 hours weekly 

We are looking for a dedicated permanent full-time staff for the Midland and surrounding areas.

The OEYC-SN, delivering EarlyON Child and Family Centre programming is seeking a motivated, energetic individual to facilitate a variety of programs that support children (birth to six years of age) and their families. The successful applicant must be knowledgeable about child development, family systems and community resources. The applicant will be expected to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends with some travel within Simcoe North. 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

· Priority is given to Registered Early Childhood Educators in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
· Clear Vulnerable Sector Check is mandatory
· Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
· Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
· Experience with Microsoft Teams, Social Media Platforms and MS 365 Office
· The ability to work as a team member
· Valid Ontario Driver’s License and reliable transportation

Duties will include but are not limited to: Planning and implementing play and inquiry based interactive learning for children and families, planning and implementing satellite programs, organizing and preparing resources and information for parents/caregivers, pre and post-natal resources and support, linking with the community to provide supports and services, facilitating workshops for parents/caregivers.


This position requires travel to our neighboring communities for delivery of Satellite programs. A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are required. 


Program Facilitators are often required to use frequent light to heavy physical effort (for purposes of set-up/take down of programs that are in Satellite locations).  Work takes place indoors and outdoors, at the main centre and community locations throughout Simcoe North.
